Two people with a love of adventure and the desire to experience beautiful lands, new cultures and great people, created Papa’s Simplici-tea Inc. Nick Papajohn and Gail Winterkorn were not so big on museums and itineraries as the everyday experiences. They had always, particularly, enjoyed searching out the special qualities, tastes and products unique to the places they ventured through. The treks have been satisfying and the searching so enjoyable.
Stumbling upon the tea at a market in Bangkok in 2006 was a little miracle. The tastes were so delicate, the scents so intriguing and Mr. Kwon and Ms. Prim were so fervent. They loved their tea and so did we. Thus began the journey to bring the appreciation of Thailand with its hustle and bustle, peace and tranquility, beauty and style to the rest of the world. But how to get all that feeling into one little bottle? With just a little help from our friends.
Choui Fong Tea Company has been a leader in producing truly superb teas in Chiang Rai and the family shares their love of tea without hesitation. We have enjoyed many wonderful dinners and conversations and smiles and countless pots of tea as we discussed the bigger picture. Mr. Thawee, Mr. Kwon and Ms. Prim were instrumental as the guideposts of our path.
The research and development was made fun, exciting and productive with the assistance of the Food and Beverage Company of Bangkok, Thailand. Miss Huai Hui Lee, Dr. Nakhon and their talented team were our light and our compass – keeping us on the straight and narrow during our quest for that perfect tang.
Numerous friends turned the various flavors round their tongues, sharing their impressions and palates in the quest to find the perfect taste combinations. They have been our drive and inspiration.
Papa's T has now arrived in the U.S. and we are pleased to introduce a Green Tea beverage that we believe is without equal in the marketplace. Papa's T is simple, as you can see from our ingredients list. We are proud to have created it as an organic product – environmentally friendly for our planet and your body. We are especially pleased to find people arguing over which flavor is the best and pleading to be given a bottle or two. We have worked very hard to bring you a high-quality product at an affordable price. We love it and we hope you will, too.
